BRUTAL POP 2 by SUN Is Out !

If you already know me you know that my mother’s milk was probably infused with both death metal and Pop Music. But if you don’t know me: Hi! I’m SUN, I make what I like to call Brutal Pop!
This is my second EP and I would like to dedicate BRUTAL POP 2 to my dear cousin Karine who passed away in 2017.
Karine was a very talented painter who combined collage, painting and tearing up layers of paper to create breathtaking artwork. Her process was always messy and surprisingly the result was always very intricate and striking! Inspired by her approach I tried to create a collage of what was going on in my soul at that time.
I only know how to express myself through my songs and since my first EP so many untold emotions had build up in me.
So I urgently needed to make a song about my crazy love stories (WAVE), the crazy successes I snatched thanks to this feral power that takes control of me sometimes (STRENGTH) but also about my weakest moments, when the Absence of my loved ones tore my heart apart (PRINCESS ERAKIN), and my ongoing struggle not finding where I belong on this earth (THE BRIDGE).
…And also about beating up JOHN a little…I admit!
Everything you hear on this EP was meticulously written, composed, arranged and produced by yours truly. I'm so relieved now that I have put on my producer cap, once and for all, and stopped hiding behind others.
I made BRUTAL POP 2 to express my true feelings, good and bad, without judgement, in rented homes, cars, on planes, buses, on moviesets (I’m also an actress) and in backstage areas and now I'm letting it go! It's for YOU 💋❤️‍🔥
